asters

love and doubt have never been on speaking terms

Kahil Gibran

A big round moon sits high up in a navy blue sky • patchouli bubbles wait patiently • Miss D snoozes in her bed under my desk • a car cuts our silence with it's passing • our windows are open to the fresh morning air • Oliver rests on his windowsill pillow • the leaves on the trees nearby are perfectly still and quiet • our little village is just beginning to wake up • hello new day

  1. The sky is blue. The Czarina dozes on the top of the sofa behind my head. The office is waiting for me down the road and I should rummage around and see if there is any breakfast.

  2. It is still dark here in the early a.m. A fire is glowing in the fireplace. Katie is sitting next to me. I am drinking coffee. We are expecting storms later today. I love a quiet morning.

  7. I'm like the vulture in the cartoon...sitting on a wire talking to his friend. I don't want to wait for something to happen...I want to go right out and kill something...or somebody.... especially carpeting people....

but,...instead I am surfing and want to say how beautiful your photos always are Susan... amazing....I feel like I am right there beside the flowers...
